Imaikkaa Nodigal Music Review
Music director Hiphop Tamizha is back with his new musical album ‘Imaikkaa Nodigal’. He is known churning musical albums that are simple and doesn’t involve any complicated package. Moreover, this stands out to be his unique trait in attracting musical lovers. Let us check out in this Imaikkaa Nodigal Music Review on how special he has tuned up the songs.
Imaikkaa Nodigal features Atharvaa Murali, Rashi Khanna, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Anurag Kashyap in lead roles. Ajay Gnanamuthu is directing this film and Jayakumar is producing the film for Cameo Films, which has musical score by Hiphop Tamizha.
Singer: Hiphop Tamizha and Kaushik Krish
The song has its own Hiphop Tamizha punch with simplistic and local flavours. The lyrical lines speak about a boy’s outrageous yet hilarious take after breakup. The instrumental piece is repeated over and again throughout the song, which will definitely gain our interest. Precisely, the rendition by Hiphop Tamizha sounds almost like a conversation rather than singing it out.
Singers: Srinisha Jayaseelan, Sudharshan Ashok & Christopher Stanley
The song has a kind of fusion with western beats and even the rendition of singers is same. But, the Nathaswaram piece that comes during the interludes gives such a feeling. The rhythmic accompaniments are mild in the backdrops and the voices are soothingly perfect. Obviously, the picturing of this song by cinematographer like RD Rajashekar will definitely endow us with best results.
Neeyum Naanum Anbe
Singers: Raghu Dixit, Sathyaprakash D & Jithin Raj
This is a beautiful number from Hiphop Tamizha. It looks like the music director was so much connected with the situational placement of this track. Seemingly, this must be a song pictured on Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. The violins, shenai and flute works are splendidly done. This song proves that Aadhi is upgrading his standard in the musical journey. Although, the pattern of vocalisms is as same as previous ones, it manages to keep us enchanted.
Kadhal Oru Aagayam
Singers: Tee-Jay & Al Rufian
The song starts off with beautiful notes on fortepianos, where they are so much mellifluous. The synch between the singers – Teejay and Al Rufian and the instrumental works are exquisitely done. The lines like ‘Kadalukkulle Meen Aludhaal Kanneer Theriyaadhu’ (The tears of fish within oceans cannot be seen) is so much emotional. The song is sure to become the favourite of youth groups.
Lion vs. Hyenas
Singer: Magizh Thirumeni
Apparently, filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni gives his voiceover this track, which narrates the exact reason behind the enmity between Lions and Hyenas. By the beginning of song, we hear the voice citing ‘Anjali’, which is played by Nayanthara. Precisely, the narration unfolds the story involving clash between Lion and Hyena, where it ends with a powerful line ‘You can tell an end to story, but not enmity’.
As the album comes to an end, we come across this power-packed track, which is tremendously in its best treatment. The cellos, strings that come along with the distorted guitars are done perfectly. Significantly, it’s so much amazing to hear them on surround system.
