With lots of female centric films having the realms across South Indian industry, especially with Anushka Shetty simultaneously delivering more powerful ones like Rudramadevi, she has come up with yet another fascinating showpiece. Simultaneously made in Telugu (Size Zero) and Tamil, the film is directed by Prakash Kovelamudi and is produced by PVP Cinemas. MM Keeravani of Baahubali and Naan Ee fame has composed music with Madhan Karky penning lyrics.

Size Zero
Singers: Neeti Mohan, Noel Sean, Rahul, Prakash Raj
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

The song sounds funny with a rendition before the preludes and later as the visuals suggest, a glamorous girl with size zero physique is shaking legs for it and on pars, you see the funny attempts of Anushka Shetty trying to shed down her weight. The song might not impress you at the first time, but the visuals will impress you vividly.

Mella Mella
Singer: Shweta Pandit
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

The song starts off with mild pianos followed by a commendable intonation by Shweta Pandit with beautiful chords in guitars. The lyrical lines by Madhan Karky sound inspiringly appealing. Hats off to the music director for giving some sigh of relief in encouraging many hearts with this. The strings in the backdrops by MM Keeravani is icing of the cake.

Song: Size Sexy
Singer: N.S.K Ramya
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

The song is typically composed in the style of Telugu flavours and NSK Ramya tries to vocalise shifting her paradigms. But overall, it’s a mediocre song and might gain the best impact with some sassy visuals and dance moves.

Song: Kannaalam
Singer: Damini, Palak Muchhal, Mohana Bhogaraju
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

Marriage songs always attract us in spite of what genre the musical composition belongs to. On the dot, the grandness and the atmospheric celebrations we see are going to make it more appealing. The tune by MM Keeravani is middling and lyrical words are something what we have been commonly hearing in many wedding based songs.

Singer: Ranjith, Adithya
Lyrics: Madhan Karky, Noel Sean, Kanika

A motivating number, which has normal tunes, but the peppy rhythmic accompaniment in the backdrops is more energising. The rendition by Ranjith and Aditya are appreciable and the mixing we see in the interludes are very well done. The lyrical lines are again more like empowering the protagonist in achieving the motto of ‘Nothing is Impossible’.

Mella Mella
Singer: Kaala Bhairava
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

Although, there are some missing elements in proper pronunciation in the song, the male version by Kaala Bhairava is cute and lovely. The song sounds more exquisite on pars with the female version we hear during the initial moments of this album. But it sounds like the male version would be getting more limelight than the previous one.

While some of the songs in this album slightly carry the usual flavours of Telugu nativity, the song ‘Mella Mella’ is more enchanting in both versions, particularly, the one rendered by Kaala Bharaiva. Most of the songs apparently sound like montage ones and visuals would actually elevate its prominence.

Mella Mella steals the show while other tracks are middling
