Raja Ranguski Teaser Review

Raja Ranguski Teaser Review  – Hopefully not Karthik Calling Karthik

The one minute 47 seconds of Raja Ranguski trailer has its own pace to offer some thrill moments. The icing of cake is none other than Yuvan Shankar Raja’s background score. The initial moments are dedicated to establish the romantic relationship between the protagonist – Raja and a journalist – Ranguski (Preferably, a ghost name for the journalist played by Chandini).

Sooner, it’s a transition into dark scenario, where a mysterious caller with the same identity of the protagonist calls up Raja threatening that he is going to bump off his girlfriend. Yes, you could be easily connecting this similarity with that of Vijay Sethupathi’s Puriyaatha Puthir. To the advanced extent, for the ones, who are familiar with the super hit Hindi film ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’. Well, these are just the assumptions that we might draw as a curious audience while watching the teaser. But it’s pretty good attempt by Dharanidharan to package it with good ‘Thriller’ moments.  But there is one thing that strikes our mind on the contrary part, which is that all the filmmakers of this current season while attempting to offer ‘Goosebumps’ just give jarring sound effects and editing cuts. With Yuvan Shankar Raja’s top-notch BGM, it’s more than enough that it could have been presented without any sound effects that are jarring in few places. Metro Sirish looks perfect for the role and Chandini must be carrying a substantial role as well.
