Saamy Square Music Review
Nearly before 16 years, Saamy turned to be one of the greatest Chartbusters with Vikram-Hari-Harris Jayaraj combo. Now the sequel has a slight replacement with Devi Sri Prasad coming into picture. Keerthy Suresh and Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen in female lead roles with Bobby Simha in negative character. Here is the Saamy Square Music Review from Starviews.
Singers – M.M. Manasi
Lyrics – Viveka
Of course, this song that was released as the first single track turned to be a surprise. If you had to listen to the track without looking into the credits, you’ll start wondering if a new guy has arrived in town for music. Obviously, such happens to be the transformation of Devi Sri Prasad, where he has completely shed his routine image of loud-noisy elements. Everything from the rhythmic accompaniment to the tempo is perfectly done. In addition, the rock elements in the backdrops with chords and the second voices are nicely blended. Furthemore, the veena that comes in by the second interlude is beautifully composed. M.M. Manasi sounds angelic with her voice.
Singers – Sanjith Hegde, Rita
Lyrics – Viveka
This song is completely different from the routine style of Devi Sri Prasad. In few places, the way vocalism of Sanjith Hegde is computerized sounds like a track in panache of SS Thaman. On the other hand, Rita delivers a decent work with her portions. The complete song has been composed with decent graph, where the usual pattern of DSP with loud and jarring sounds is avoided. The lyrical lines by Vivek have some of the elements picked from the first part involving the love between Aaruchaamy and Bhuvana. Of course, the title ‘Molagapodiye’ and ‘Meesai’. Surprisingly, the second interlude suddenly gets western, which looks inappropriate, which could have been attempted in a different way. Moreover, the song faintly reminds us off ‘Chor Bazaari’ from Pritham’s Love Aaj Kal, which could be possibly a co-incidental one.
