Very few filmmakers have the knack of bringing the actors from various regional backdrops and offering them substantial roles out there in their movies. Such an array of moviemakers limits to Mani Ratnam, Rajeev Menon, Gautham Vasudev Menon and few more to the list. It looks like Gautham Ramachandran; a former associate of Rajeev Menon has now made it all happen again. He is bringing together not just the handsome and beautiful actors, but someone with strong performances. He is all set for the remake of super hit Kannada movie ‘Ulidhavaru Kandante’, which marks the debut of Nivin Pauly in Tamil cinema. Surprisingly, the latest sensation of Kannada industry – Shraddha Srinath, who is riding high on the success of her recent release ‘U-Turn’ has been signed to perform the female lead. The actress sharing her immense glee over getting her Tamil offer says that she was auditioned before couple of months and her Tamil slang wasn’t too perfect as it was a new language to her. But now that she is working on it and the makers are so much impressed with her acting skills, she is straight into the project now.
