Gopi Sunder has been the acclaimed music director from Malayalam film industry, who has been surprising the entire South Indian music industry with his versatility in offering musical treat based on different genres. In this bilingual album ‘Thozha’ starring Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah in lead roles, he has packaged it with a mix of western, melodies and Kuthu number.

O Baby Odathe

 Shankar Mahadevan

A very bright number to take off with, which is crooned by Shankar Mahadevan, which is centered on a guy’s charming phrases to woo his girl out there.. Well orchestrated with rock metal and good tunes, the song is sure to fetch more attention through the visuals.

A cool sangfroid number with inspiring lyrics and flamboyant music! It sounds like a montage song and has meaningful lines that are centered on a man’s moment to make some important decision. Karthik, as usual makes an impressive show with the song.

Eifel Mele

Ranjith and Suchithra

When you have these couple of singers listed in a track, you could probably make the right assumptions much prior to listening the song. Yes, it’s a folk number that has mix of peppy beats in the backdrop. These singers – Ranjith and Suchithra make it more appealing, but it’s more catering to the tastes of Telugu music buffs.

Vijay Prakash

A mellifluous number by Vijay Prakash, who just leaves us speechless with an impeccable rendition and he proves to be a colossal genius with this number. The mild guitar works in the backdrops are really soothing with a soulful essence.

Anirudh Ravichander, Haricharan

One more peppy number that gets along with bright sparkling instrumentals with rock guitars and percussions in the backdrops. Anirudh – The brand has an additional attraction of Midas-touch in any track and this one too is a good illustration. Not to miss the wonderful vocalism of Haricharan, who is just awesome..

Door No

Geetha Madhuri

This is a deliberate treat for all Tollywood music lovers and yes, it could fetch more attraction among Telugu cohorts and slightly with the Tamil too. The song faintly reminiscences of train song composed by Devi Sri Prasad in Dhanush-Shriya Charan starrer ‘Kutty’, titled ‘Kannu Rendum’.

A slow placed number based on the pathos of a man about his lost happy days. Karthik does his best and even the orchestral are pretty decent. It could brew up well with the situational placement of song during the climax.

Gopi Sunder has done a commendable composing with different musical genres. You’re surely to fall in love with the numbers like – Puthitha, Enuyire and Thozha for its tune and lyrical lines. Rest of the songs would have its best scenario on the screens.

Simple, cool and refreshing album by Gopi Sunder
