Vijay-Atlee: Parrys Corner, Aalaporan Tamizhan and Napier Bridge now
Vijay-Nayanthara starrer Thalapathy 63 shoot has been going on full swing in a college now. The first schedule commenced in January, where the shoot was held in huge set works erected in Binny Mills of Perambur and Meenambakkam followed by Prasad Lab. Currently, the new schedule is happening in a private college stadium. Meanwhile, we have an interesting buzz about the film. While Shankar is known for his grandeur and mastering the craftsmanship of presenting it efficiently, his protégé Atlee is no exception. In Theri, he managed to recreate the Parrys Corner, where Vijay beats the hooligans who force kids into begging. It all like a real Parrys Corner, but it was recreated through CG and set work. Similarly, the grand backdrops of Aalaporaan Tamizhan, (the portions in Tamil Nadu) were done using Green matte. Now the same technology has been used for Thalapathy 63 in many places. In particular, a song sequence in the backdrops of Napier Bridge was recreated using set works in Prasad Studios and it will be matched with Green matte.
